Valda Audrey Walker (nee Brumhead)
25. 01.1931 ~ 29.11.2025
Loving wife of David (Dec)
After 94 years of a full and beautiful life,
our beloved Mum, Nanna and Great-Nan, died peacefully
at Wantirna Palliative Care on Saturday afternoon 29th November 2025.
Her smile will no longer brighten our days.
In all of our grief, we are comforted in knowing that she achieved the
“the peace at the last, peace with Christ” that she yearned for.
We would like to thank everyone for their kind words
and for being part of her life.
There will be a Funeral of Thanksgiving Service as we celebrate her life
at St Stephen’s Anglican Church, 4 Warruga Ave, Bayswater
at 11am on Monday 15th December 2025.
Following the service, we look forward to catching up with you
in the Church Hall to share memories, over light refreshments,
of the love and the joy that Val brought to those in her community.
We would like to thank everyone for their kind words
and for being part of her life. With love,
Audrey, Robyn, Rosie, Kelly, Craig, and Mikey.
For those unable to attend, the service will be live streamed via the YouTube channel of St Stephen’s Anglican Church, Bayswater:

In lieu of flowers, Val would be thrilled if you made a donation to

We love Val.
She has beautiful loving nurturing nature and lived her life with a sparkle of joy in her eyes
She had a faith in Jesus Christ and so there is the trust that she now resides with Him in an eternal youthful state

Going through my mum’s letters (Margaret, wife of Geoff, David’s older brother), I know Aunty Val was one of mum’s most faithful correspondents. And as we share that faith in Jesus Christ, look forward to meeting again in eternity.
