Rest in Peace my amazing Nanna, I am so blessed to have spent so much time with you. You looked after me for weeks at a time all throughout my childhood. I had my own room at your house in Dermott St for many years. You taught me how to cook, how to tend the garden, grow vegetables, to knit and to sew. You and Grandpa would let me sneak into your bed every morning where I slept between the 2 of you, feeling loved and safe. You took me to your lions club and we loved to go to the shops to buy the ingredients for whatever I chose to cook with you. Your Christmas dinners were so delicious, and the servings kept coming until we were all in a food coma snoozing on the couch. You will be greatly missed and always remembered. Your kind gentle ways leaving a lasting impression on me. Your love for all animals was next level angelic, knitting jumpers for your featherless wild cockatoo that you would allow into your house. I’m saddened I wasn’t able to spend more time with you in your later years and that I wasn’t able able to attend your funeral. I am with you in spirit. Grandpa will be thrilled to see you. Until we meet again, love always Sara.

Very sad to hear of Glad’s passing.
We have many fond memories of times with her and Ken over the years with Lodge Observance, parties and gatherings. Hoping she is now at peace and catching up with Ailsa for a game of tennis or mahjong.
