An amazing lady who will be sadly missed.
Memories as a small child being in the kinder and Aunty Eileen coming to check on me, sometimes at rest time she would take me back to the house to spend time with her. When my Mum and I moved to Darwin in the late 70’s, I would return to Melbourne on school holidays and my Nan and Pop would take me to visit Aunty Eileen and family. Aunty Eileen was a generous lady and whilst she was always busy she made time for me, she would sew me outfits and let me select the material and she would let me help in the kitchen and teach me recipes. I often would admire her dolls in the display cabinet, sometimes she would open the cabinet and let me have a closer look, these moments made me feel very special and I hold them close to my heart.
I will miss Aunty Eileen but never forget her, always with me no matter where I am or what I am doing.
    Love you Aunty Eileen ❤️

Our most sincerest condolences to the Arthur and extended Family. Eileen was a beautiful and wonderful person.
We have great memories of the Kinder and our lunches together with Eileen and Don and sometimes Patricia and Stan, at times these lunches turned into dinner as well, Eileen was always very kind and hospitable. We admire her for the courage she had during the last few years of her life but know she is now reunited with all her loved ones in heaven. We will miss her very much but she will live on in our hearts forever.

Our heartfelt condolences to Eileen’s family and extended family for their great loss. Eileen and Don have been our good friends for long years. They have edified us with their good examplary lives and we thank God for the privilege of our journeys shared. We were sad not to be able to attend Eileen’s funeral but were present in spirit. Her name is enrolled in the Perpetual Masses offered by the Society of St Paul. May the Lord welcome her in the glory of Paradise. Pastorelle Sisters.

It’s sad to hear the passing off Mrs A! I was lucky enough to work for these generous and educated couple in the 90’s at their crèche!
Mrs A trusted me in her kitchen and taught me to cook!
She loved her animals, especially the Donkey (Jimbob) and the cockatoo.(Herbie) But Mrs A had a soft spot for teaching (and playing the piano/singing)
My deep condolences to Don and the family!
