The Service to Celebrate the Life of Leon
will be held in the Federation Chapel, Lilydale Memorial Park,
126 - 128 Victoria Rd Lilydale
on Tuesday 20th January at 1.45pm.
Following the Service Leon will be laid to rest in the Yarra Gum Lawn within the Cemetery Grounds.

My family has asked me to pass on their condolences and deepest sympathy 🌹 We are all very sorry to hear of Uncle Lee’s passing.
We all remember him for his great sense of humour and the love he had for his family.

The memories I have of us together are memories I have and forever will remember and cherish
From chopping wood to playing pool and most memorable is watching the footy game on tv
and taking the big black and white banner on the train to Waverley park ❤️
You definitely showed me the rite colours in life I am and will forever be a one eyed Collingwood supporter and I will never forget your influence growing up as a child this I something you had taught me and I will always remember love and cherish our team just like you pop

Pop i will never forget you. The times I spent with you and Nan i will always cherish. You always made everyone feel so welcome when we would all come to visit you. You would always make food in abundance and insist we all eat. Your hospitality was spectacular.
As a kid my fondest memories were driving around the mountains on a hot day making my way to you and Nan. As a child full of excitement knowing you will have the pool open for us to jump in and cool down as you always did. Making sure nobody missed out on swim on a hot day, even if it wasn’t that hot, you were still happy to pull the cover off for us to swim, even if it meant you needing to clean all the leaves out after. You never once complained you were just happy to see us kids happy.
Playing on the pool table with you placing bets on who’s going to win I loved your competitivness always egar to win.
From watching you cheer on Collingwood while getting you top ups of your Stanley Port i will never forget you Pop! You took me to my first ever footy match just you and me. That will always be special to me.
When Christmas came around always knowing there would always be a box of chocolates for me under the Christmas tree.
Taking us to Mcdonalds as kids for an icecream on a hot day, or our trips to the market snagging bargains you couldn’t pass up to Nan saying its junk, I miss those times.
You were an amazing Pop so funny and always up for a laugh, always living life to the fullest, never letting anything slow you down. Your jokes and humour and beaming smile I wont forget.
Hard working hands are now at rest you did good Pop now enjoy your well deserved rest. Thank you for being you I love you Poppy. Enjoy paradise up there with all the ones you have missed.

(Fiddle) pop i remember the times when we were kids we would come up to visit u guys . I remember u always telling us kids to go outside because we weren’t allowed to be around the adults.i remember it would be stinking hot or cold and raining lol. I remember at Xmas time we always knew who your favourites were (it wasn’t us kids) probably best at these times to tell the truth rather than romantic ideas.each person has their own memories.what I remember is I was nothing and I believe the same for my other siblings. Opinions do vary, and this is mine. Regardless I hope he rest in peace.Donna
