Angela was a truly wonderful person. In the years I’ve known her through work, she consistently exuded a calming presence that gave us all the confidence that everything would progress smoothly.
Those familiar with our “Back to School” rush will understand just how committed Angela was to her job. She supported everyone on the team without hesitation, always going the extra mile to ensure things were done right.
Angela often put in long days at the Hampton Park store. I knew this because I would frequently pass by the store on my way home, and her red car was often still there late into the evening. Sometimes, I would drop in, and there she would be, diligently finishing the tasks left by her team. She never complained, always working hard with dedication, persistence, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
She had a sharp sense of humor, especially when talking about some of the bosses we had to work for. “Shanaka, we’ve had so many I’ve lost count,” she would say with a smile. Angela was meticulous when lodging an NCP and would often have a good laugh after finishing some of those conversations with Susie or Divna. Her humor and camaraderie will be greatly missed.
As we bid you farewell, Angela, on your journey to eternity, we will remember all your special nuances and cherish the memories of the days we were privileged to share with you. Though you may be gone from our sight, your presence will always be felt in our hearts and minds.
May your soul attain nibbana. 🙏

I will miss the little things about you, our regular chats about the Wordle of the day, chats about the ice hockey, hearing you hum along the aisles in the warehouse at work and most of all, the way you said goodbye on a phone call “see you then” in the kindest voice.

Angela was truly a remarkable person, taken from us too soon. Her kindness and generosity were boundless, and she had an incredible ability to make everyone feel valued and appreciated. Angela’s gentle spirit and caring nature have taught me so much about the importance of empathy and compassion.
Working for and alongside Angela from the age of 16 was a true honour – it was Angela who kept me at PSW for as long as I worked there. She was not only my manager but a role model and someone I looked up to with a great deal of respect and admiration. Angela taught me what an honest day of hard work looked like and always remained calm and composed even during the high-intensity periods of back-to-school rushes. Her ability to handle pressure with grace was nothing short of inspiring, and her wealth of knowledge continues to amaze me.
Angela’s presence was a gift to all who knew her. She possessed a unique ability to see the best in people and always knew how to lift others up, even in the most challenging times. Her patience and understanding were a testament to her character, inspiring us all to be better.
Through her actions, Angela showed me and all who had the privilege of knowing her the power of kindness, the strength in patience, and the beauty of a generous heart. These are lessons I will undoubtedly carry with me for the rest of my life.
Rest in peace, Ang – you will forever be remembered, cherished and dearly missed.
