Met Graeme in 1957 where he agreeed to employ me as a trainee pharmacist at his
Mt Waverley pharmacy. It was the start of a long friendship with me and my family.
I worked for Graeme for 10 years. During this times we played ten pin bowls on a weekly basis , cards and socialised often. This was followed by regular calls from him to
remind me of my wedding anniversaries , children’s birthdays and other important
occasions as I was renowned for forgetting them. When he retired he kindly offered
the business to me and my pharmacist son Scott. As you likely know his final year was
spent in care and not a good time due to his health problems. But he was stoic to the end.
Miss you Graeme

Thoughts and prayers are with the family of our dear friend Graeme today,
he was a much-loved part of our community. We will miss him greatly,
he always thought of the other person more than himself.
Rest in peace.

So sorry to hear this sad news. Graeme came to my father’s funeral in 2016, which was very heart warming. They were cousins – certainly the end of an era.Unfortunately I was away and missed the memorial service.
Love and thoughts to the family, he will certainly be missed.
