Dear Mrs D, Helen, Clive, Paula and families our deepest condolences for your loss. Growing up as teenagers with Clive, the D’Santos household was always a welcoming place and Mr D was a big part of that. He was keen to have a chat and as we once also worked at the same place, happy to swap stories. We will miss his cheeky smile which thankfully he has passed on to his son. A nice reminder of a person we had the pleasure to have known. Cheers Mr D. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love Kevin, Carolyn & family

Dearest Aunty Merl, today is the anniversary of your wedding to Uncle Sherwin marking the start of your lives together, now the day you farewell him with a heavy broken heart but also with love and deep gratitude for the beautiful life you both made and shared for over 60 years, I remember most of all nothing was too much for you, he loved you so. You were to me a living inspiration and model of how marriage is and the true commitment to it.
To Helen, Clive and Paula you had one of the best dad’s. He gave his best to his family, his work ethic, his humour, his willingness to help anyone and commitment to family, not just his own but to all of us was something we all felt. Brian and Paola, you had a father-in-law who made you part of his family and loved you as his own.
To his grandchildren, his pride and joy not just when he saw you but when he spoke of you all, Laura, Elsa, Anton, Ilsa, Sachin and Georgia. The wide smile on his face when your Nanna would speak of you, he’d listen and beam with pride.
We are so sorry for you all for your sad loss of someone who was so loved.
Uncle Sherwin you were a constant in my life, I will always remember you as a best mate to my dad and the two of you always doing things to help each other out, be it wallpapering at Chaucer Ave, fixing things at Tolmie & Tamar Rd or the trips you’d both take us all on as kids to beaches in England and Australia, camp in Tongio and just being there no matter what. I was always proud to say you were my Godfather, even though you and Aunty forgot a few years ago, and we laughed so much when I reminded you both. Thank you for the love and laughter you shared with my kids, Lauren will always remember you teasing her when she was little and you being so amused by her was a joy for me to watch.
You will be missed Uncle Sherwin, but never forgotten. Rest easy, be at peace now a well earned rest, a life well lived 🙏🏼
With love & blessings to you all,
Cheryl, Thomas & Lauren 🙏🏼♥️
