We think of you quite often and remember your friendliness in welcoming us into the club. We laughed with you and Heike on the field trips and remember how enthusiastic and helpful you were. cheers Garry and Olive Wood

Sincere condolences to all of Peter’s friends and family, so sad to hear the news of his passing and was not aware that Heike had also passed too. It was a pleasure working with Peter, so many fond memories of you both, may you rest in peace.

During our lifetime we may only know a few people we regard as true friends. Peter and I were friends since our school days and he was always willing to give his time to me and my wife Annette especially during the early days of our marriage. I am so glad to have been able to speak to Peter recently after so many years. Our deepest sympathy to all his family

I was reminded what a great friend Peter was to my Dad, Bill Rennie. Most weeks he would drive across Melbourne from Frankston to Lower Templestowe just to sit with Dad. We had many great camping trips as kids with Peter and I loved his dry laconic sense of humour. There were always many laughs along the trail. With great sadness we wish him farewell from this life.
