To my husband George,
May the wind blow softly and whisper in your ear how much we love and miss you and wish you were here.
We were together for 34 years, built a home together, a successful business and had 3 beautiful children John Paul, Bianca and Cassandra who have grown into such successful adults that you were so proud of.
You were the Doctor of Air Conditioning and everyone knew that you were the best installer going around. Your eye for detail and outstanding work ethic was like no other.
Our unforgettable trips to countless countries over the years with our kids will never be forgotten. You fought so hard for all of us, but now it is time to rest.
We miss you already, until we meet again
With Love,
Anita

Anita, Johnny, Bianca and Cassandra,
From the other side of a crazy world I write these words with tears on my eyes for all Of you. To hear this inevitable news is so sad. However, as you stated above Anita, GeoRge lived the good life as seen through his wonderful family. Awesome trips around the world including most recently NYC…..have given you all memories that will ensure during these tough days ahead. Hard to believe we first met in 1996……three beautiful children in a driveway of Grandpa’s home. You were beautiful kids then and with the help Of mom and dad, you forged ahead to be successful both professionally and personally. In these crazy times, it is more
Important than ever to live our lives as George did…..work hard but play harder. Never know when the ride will be over.
Love from NYC,
Flatty!

What a courageous strong battle you fought against an enemy that has never been defeated. With the total loving support of Anita, John, Bianca and Cassandra you met every obstacle with stubbornness and a cheeky smile. We have to believe you have found peace, a boat, calm seas and loads of fish. That is the least you deserve. You will be loved and missed forever. Our brother in law, uncle and friend. Through tears Robert, Karen, Shaun and Tash

Dear George,
You were taken from us so very young.
From our childhood you were such a character. A free spirit that always managed to live your life on your own terms. Stubborn to a fault but perhaps that’s why we all loved you so much. You were always a breath of fresh air with a zest for life that seemed boundless.
Thank you for the precious memories of all the wonderful times we shared.
Loved and most dearly missed. Your cousin Andrew.

Dear George
Anita, John, Bianca, Cassandra,
My deepest and sincere condolences on the passing of your husband & father. He was a very hard working and generous man always providing the best in life for his family. He lived life to the fullest he achieved and did the things he loved the most with his wife and kids on many occasions. He was always beaming with pride when he spoke about his kids and their achievements. I was amazed at how he could fall asleep at a gathering in a room full of people and I could laugh and joke about it with him afterwards…But that was george. I will remember the many interesting conversations we had about life and your numerous experiences with your family. God bless you all, and watch over you during this difficult time. Be at Peace George in your final resting place,
Steven Piralis & Family.

Dear George (Koko, as I called you my whole life), you were like an older cousin, that I never had, growing up in Australia. You and Anita were always there for my family and I and everyone knows how much of a hard working, and amazing bloke you were, including me. I remember coming to your parents house as a kid and running a muck, and I remember annoying you and your brother running in and out of your room and then as I grew older, I remember meeting up with you in Cyprus with my dad, up in Kathika. Great memories and good times. You surely will be missed. You fought hard and never gave up but it’s time to rest my friend. See you again! Love Harry and the whole Christodoulou family.

I hope your beautiful family only have good memories of George and you all should be so proud of what you have become from his influence. What can I say mate you basically taught me everything I know. You were like a second dad to me since u took me on as your apprentice in 2008. U were always tough but always had my best intentions at heart. You’ve build up a great family and friends for life because whenever you walked into a room everyone respected and listened to what you were saying and doing whether at work or at home. I’ll forever miss u mate. And miss every time I put my hands in my pockets at work I would feel a quick slap to the back of my head haha!
Rest easy mate

Our deepest & heartfelt condolences to Anita, John, Bianca & Cassandra.
Ever since the first time we met George, he was always very polite and respectful, & we found that he worked very hard for his family. As we found out he loved his fishing, there were many stories of different types of fish being caught. There were also many Christmas eves gone by together with all the families. One particular one at our place found George, after a few Southern comforts & cokes, somehow finish up in the pool, clothes & all, then on other occasions, late at night, you’d find him asleep in the recliner. George had many stories of travel & fishing, but now, he has probably got his own fishing spot that nobody can take away.
God bless you our boy. Hope you catch a big one. Love you always, chin, chin. Uncle Paul & Auntie Rae xx

George : My Cousin , My Mate
Where do I start ? You leaving us has left a big whole in our lives, and especially mine.
From the day you arrived from Cyprus at a young age you never sat still, you were into anything and everything. You worked your ass off to make a great and successful life for yourself and for your family. Always providing for your family and putting Anita , John, Bianca and Cassandra first. You and Anita raised three beautiful kids that I know you are extremely proud of.
You worked so hard but enjoyed life to the max, good food, travelling, fishing, hunting and especially making people happy. Our adventures together will always stay with me, from growing up together, our trips to Cyprus together, to our fishing trips , our everyday encounters and the times I went on jobs with you .
Our many conversations we had will be forever a topic for discussion whenever your name comes up, and especially the many stories that will come up and be told.
I saw how hard you worked and how much pride you put into your work, no job was ever too hard for you big or small , you were the King of Fridgies , a tradie that would put many to shame.
Your willingness to help everyone and fix their heating and cooling is something they will never forget, as you keep us all warm in the winter and cool in summer.
Your strength and courage to fight till the end was amazing never giving up.
I will cherish the time we had together and our memories will live on.
I know you heard my last words to you and i will keep my promise to you.
You will be missed by all and never forgotten.
Safe travels Cuz and I will see you in the soup.

To my cousin George,
As you read all theses amazing tributes from above you will probably have one of your cheeky laughs at us being sad. As the truth being the one that we will all meet up again at the stars.
But now a huge part of this world is sad and missing you dear George. And my parents and Mario and I are missing you from coming to Sydney to see us and have fun together. No one else is like You!! You were fun kind and smart!! You were bigger than this life as other people said and this is so true. No wonder your offsprings are a policewoman a paramedic and an osteopath!! That’s because you were all of the above as one together at the same time: Sharp quick respond strong kind mind.
And as my mind goes back you were a special sparky, sharp boy ever since I remember you from the age of 4. We were playing marbles on the ground endlessly and you were winning it all but kind enough to give me back some.
You are a winner George and I look forward meeting your soul again in heaven.
With lots of love your cousin xryso.

Mark, Sonia, Renee and Stefan.
George, an Uncle, brother-in-law and a good friend.
How we were saddened when we received the news you had this hideous disease.
It takes everything and leaves no survivors.
As hard as it tried, it couldn’t take your smile and thumbs up right to the very end.
We can’t imagine the frustration you felt each day trying to do something as simple as communicate in a conversation.
You fought the good fight and now it’s your time to find that spot of sunshine, a calm sea, and reel them in.
“We pray you’ll be our eyes
and watch us where we go,
and help us to be wise
in times when we don’t know
Let this be our pray
When we lose our way”
You are and always will be sadly missed.
Watch us from above.
Until we meet again.

George, I miss you already.
I remember when we used to hang around with our fast cars in Dandenong. You were the faster. We used to call you the one. I remember the time in the garage when we replaced the engine 302 with the 351, and we got caught by your father the time we were taking the engine out. And your father said ”What are you two doing”? He was very pissed off. He was chasing you with a broomstick and I run out of the garage.
You loved your village Kathika, you used to visit all the time. I hope your kids will visit Kathika so I can get to see them again.
I am gonna miss you mate, and our long friendship. You may rest in peace. YOU ARE THE ONE. THE ONLY ONE.
See you mate. Have a nice trip.

George supported me when I started Cowan Air years ago. The mate you can call 24/7, he always picked up the phone and helped.
I looked up to George because he was focused on getting the job done and worked hard.
We developed a lifelong friendship, always calling each other randomly when we needed something or just for a chat.
George was an adventurous guy that loved his fishing and being outdoors.
I went for dinner one night in the North Dandenong family home and after dinner George decided to get Anita‘s brand new one week old Ford station wagon from Dulux. He said to Anita, honey I will be back in an hour.
I jumped in Anita‘s new company car with George and we drove down to Governor Road Braeside, he got me to drive in the paddocks while he sat on the bonnet with a gun shooting rabbits, to this day I still remember the smile on his face.
George you will be missed but your endless smile will never be forgotten

Taken so so early! You were truly one of the most amazing humans that I have met. Always so giving. I’ll never forget the Christmas parties at trademaster with the oysters. The oysters will be missed but you will be missed more!
