Oh Chris….what a gaping hole you have left in the hearts of so many, including mine. I’m deeply grateful that you came into my life two years ago. You did it your way….from insisting on no John Denver songs around the campfire at Flowerdale to battling Michael for control of the BBQ on Mother’s Day, as you both competed over Joanie’s egg and bacon breakfast. The last time I heard your voice, you were asking for your brother’s advice on how to cook the perfect roast potato, such a beautiful memory.
So onto the next great adventure you go. Rest easy, knowing I won’t leave Michael’s side as he navigates his way through this immeasurable grief. That is my promise to you.
    Melissa

Chris, always so generous and welcoming. Whenever we popped over you would always say ‘would you like a beer, what would you like’. Just so down to earth, a great man. I remember like yesterday when you and Tania asked if I wanted to go with you to the Southern 80, Daryl had a crew together with his boat, a fantastic couple of days of BBQ’s and beers, just a great time. You will be sadly missed but forever in our hearts and memories.

I would like to thank you Cuz for so many amazing memories. Our camping trips were always so much fun and you always provided the laughs. I remember the time we all went camping and you tied a dead snake to your leg with fishing line, next minute you ran through the camp yelling “Snake”, of course we couldn’t see the fishing line. Chris you will always be missed. Love ya Cuz.

What a wonderful tribute to a special guy! I am so grateful to have been able to “attend” this celebration of Chris’ life. I would have been there in person if things were different. I didn’t know Chris well but met him a few times and found him lovely as I expected. I had heard so many good things about him from my brother-in-law Rob. To Kane & Lily, Chris’ parents, siblings and friends – may your happy memories and the support of each other give you comfort. With my sincere condolences. Allana xox
