To my dearest brother,
To know you are no longer there grieves me beyond words.
To know we can’t chat, laugh, complain or solve life’s problems anymore is something I will never understand.
To not see you and Annette live life to its full is a travesty.
Goodbye mate,
Love always John

I only got to spend a week with Phil on a fishing charter last year with a “mothership” boat being where we slept. when you’re trapped on a boat with someone for a week you get to know them pretty quickly.
Phil would have to be one of the most approachable, friendly, down to earth blokes I’ve ever met. He was always the first up (doing my head in with the coffee machine at 4am) but always ready to have a chin wag. I can see how he could be loved and missed by so many people.
Rest in peace Phil.

Phill I’m glad we got to know you and whenever our families met you we always had a great banter together. You will be missed greatly but we will see you when our time is due. Annette, Mitch and Michael thank you so much for allowing us to celebrate Phill’s life through this livestream it was a honour to watch.
Love to all the family xx
