The Funeral Service to Celebrate the Life of Malcolm
Will be held at the Cumulus Reflection Space, Bunurong Memorial Park,
790 Frankston Dandenong Rd, Dandenong South on
Thursday 16th April 2026 commencing at 3.00pm
Following the Service Malcolm will be laid to rest
within the Cemetery Grounds in the Eternity Garden.

Mal was such a lovely man. Very easy to talk to & welcomed my family & my friend & me into his home on Bribie Island years ago. My deepest condolences to all the family. He will surely be missed.

I first met Mal over 25years ago at work and the first thing I noticed was his positive attitude and always there to help you. A terrific person and although I didn’t get to see him a lot over the past few years we regularly conversed on the phone.
My deepest condolences to Cam and all the family.

It is my great honour to write this tribute to a great man. A Gentleman of all Gentleman’s. A man who lived the fullest of lives and left no rock unturned. A man you would follow to the end of the world for, fight tooth and nail for. He meant a lot to many,…he meant a lot to my family and I.
He was my leader, he was my mentor, he was my ginger angel!…and I was blessed to have him as a good friend, a true blue mate.
I was privileged to call him ‘Uncle Mal”. His guidance, wisdom, and words of comfort always assured you that things would be ok. His big smile, aura and larrikin energy would brighten your day, and if you were fortunate enough, he had a firm hug that meant so much, you would want to conquer the world.
He Taught me how to be a good man, to be a gentleman, to be a fighter… leading only by example.
And what a fighter Mal was, toughest guy I know. Fought God a few times and won. He fought every ounce to be around in this world and made it a better place, he made a difference to many.
Mal, You went on your terms mate. You made it to another xmas, made it a full summer, made it to another birthday, most meaningful, you made it to see your champion son Cam get married to his beautiful wife Mary and get your family union together for the occasion. As the fighter you are, you pushed even harder to make it to see another blessing in your life in your new granddaughter, young Estelle. You had a xmas, full summer and a b’day with this little angel. Many congratulations Mal.
Good for you going out on your terms. A couple of cold days, the Swans losing to the Hawks, and the ‘Woke’ establishment on the rise, you decided to rest. A well deserved rest Mal. You just beat the cold weather that came!.
I was fortunate to see and keep in touch with Uncle Mal regularly the last few years. He always made time and was always in good spirits, a joy to be with. It was always an honour to be in his presence.
Mal, I will miss your friendship, our catch ups, talks and a beers together mate. Still knocking one down even after The Austin visits!!.
You made a difference to my family’s life and I will be forever grateful.
You had a solid innings of 83 where you laid foundations for others to build their lives aspiring to be as strong, as positive, as lively and live life to the fullest as you did.
To me, you will always be 83 not out, always in our hearts, forever remembered, an absolute treasure to this world.
My prayers are with you and your family. You will be dearly missed.
As we always say in our goodbyes “I see you when I see you”.
