Guy,
To encompass the different emotions that have run their gamut over the last few weeks since I learned of what had transpired is an impossibility. Between Matt, myself and you we met in middle school, and grew together; almost inseparable throughout, so many happy laughing moments, so many firsts as young men- immutable times forever. From school boy laughs, parties, first serious relationships, to careers and families. (And laughing about him hotting up that piece of crap Laser!)
All I do know in these times from my experience on this planet is that loss isn’t gotten over, you just get used to that special person not being there anymore.
Sorrow slowly evolves to reminiscing only good times with them, and you will find yourself smiling once more at their memory. My love to all that know him with the love I do- I will always proudly state, Guy was my friend, I loved him, and I will always miss him.
There is a quote from the Ancient Greek poet Aeschylus that I’d like to share:
‘And even in our sleep, pain which cannot forget, falls drop by drop upon the heart until in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom through the awful grace of god”

Words do no justice to how shocked and saddened but the passing of such a beautiful soul . My family and I only met with you at Leonies Pizza but with every short encounter, you always shared that genuine smile and chatted like an old time buddy . You took good care of us Guy . Sometimes in life you don’t need to spend years knowing someone , for them to be a blessing in one’s life , those short moments Richard and I have had during pizza pick up was enough to see the beautiful soul you were . Our hearts break for the beautiful family . My prayer is that God Will strengthen them beyond human understanding and protect them all the days of their lives . Guy , May you rest in eternal peace and we take comfort in the knowledge of our creator that we have an eternal home where there is no tears but eternal joy . Fly high Guy into the hands of your maker . We rest knowing that one day everyone will be United in Gods heavenly Kingdom Amen
