My darling Dad I can’t believe that I will never again hold your hand or kiss your forehead but I know you are now at peace. It was an honour and a privilege to hold your hand and whisper in your ear as you peacefully went to sleep. You will always be in my heart.

To the best Grandad a girl could ever ask for! You have been an amazing role model and a huge part of my life and I am going to miss you so very much! You are such a beautiful, kind-hearted, strong, caring, funny, clever, cheeky and not to mention the greatest ‘family man’ I have ever known. I will forever treasure the memories of my time spent with you and Grandma as I was growing up…my special Grandad! Sorry for trying to steal your beers when I was a toddler and for re-decorating your bathroom when I “tested” your razor! Thank you for always having my back…including when I cooked that mudcake but used plain flour instead of SR flour ( you still ate it and said it was good) and for eating my chips after I was devastated when the salt shaker lid fell off and the entire contents fell onto my chips. Lol.
Scarlett and Ollie are going to treasure their time with you too and they already miss their ‘papa’ so much. Stevie is also going to miss the chats and giggles with you – you were not only like a grandad to him but you were also a great mate too!
We are so bloody proud of how strong you were and how long you fought your illness for and just want you to know that you will never be forgotten and you will ALWAYS be in our hearts!
This year, on the 21st of December, the day of your funeral, the ‘Christmas Star’ is going to be the brightest it has been in 800 years! Just for you, Grandad!
I love you so much and always will! Xoxoxo

Papa, I have loved these last 10 years I have spent with you and I am so sad that it has ended. I will miss you heaps! Every night I promise to look up at the stars and remember you. My favourite memory of you is all of the times you would listen to how I was and what we had and you would always get so excited and listen. Thank you papa, for always caring and just being you. I love you! Love Scarlett

To my dear Uncle Lee, I just wanted to share two things I remember from when I was a young child on one of your rare trips to Adelaide is you repeatedly winking at Aunty Pat and I said to my mum “why does Uncle Lee keep winking at Aunty Pat?” Back then I thought it was very odd that a husband would wink at his wife, how lucky you were to have had such a beautiful relationship. The other thing I remember, is my mum rolling up the rug from our lounge room and Uncle Lee, Uncle John and mum doing some form of the highland fling after a few beers and me thinking how mum is going to be so cranky in the morning as the lounge floor will be all scuffed up, something we were never allowed to do. But she was so happy when you came to visit, you could have scuffed up all her floors and she would never have told you off. So as I sit here smiling to myself at these memories, I just wanted you to know I am so grateful to have had you in my ife and so proud my daughter, Amanda Lee, is your namesake. RIP, until we meet again xx

Rest in peace Lee. Our thoughts are with the family at this very sad time.

‘Those we love don’t go away,
They walk beside us every day,
      Unseen, unheard, but always near,
      Still loved, still missed
      And very dear’

Lee you were a life long dear friend to Mum & Dad (Barbara & Bob Morison) and also to all our family. Memories of weekends away with you will remain with us, and the shenanigans that you and Dad got up to will never be forgotten. Dad will be waiting up there for you with a cold beer and a cheeky grin thinking about what you two can get up to now!!
RIP Lee. Our thoughts are with you Pat and the family at this very sad time. xx
Love Peter & Gayle, Glenn & Meredith Morison
