Remembering starting high school at Richmond Girls. You were the sister of my new best friend, Jackie. The first time I saw you I thought how incredibly pretty you were and how cool you looked with your Cilla Black hair do. Who would have thought 60 years later I would still be best friends with your sister. I loved your mother Iris and father Sam, they welcomed me into your family. I know it will be giving Jackie some peace to know you are reunited with them. Rest peacefully dear Sandra. The Cumming family would like to express their deepest sympathy to Daryl, Jackie and all Sandra’s family.

Dearest Sandra, I’ll forever be grateful that we found each other and reconnected. The distance in miles never mattered to us , our love and support conqured that . A family bond forever, how lucky we were that we got to share some time in England . It was an honour that we got to share Lola’s 1st birthday with you and Daryl. Our tradition of sending each other Christmas ornaments over the years – I’ll always have a piece of you in my home and you’ll forever be in my heart. Rest in peace Sandra. Dear Sandra, I will miss you dearest cousin, although many miles away in the U.K. we were in touch daily through our word game along with Jackie, it gave us time to write about the family and other things that were happening.
I remember meeting you in Eton Wick when we were around 5 or 6 and can remember (silly but true) your garden gate. We were lucky enough to welcome you and Daryl to our house when you both were visiting the U.K.
I shall miss you very much and will love you for ever Sandra.

Although we lost contact many years ago when I moved to Western Australia, but later reconnected through Facebook I still retain beautiful memories of our childhood. Spent many times at “Nanny & Grandad’s” house in Richmond especially at Christmas time with our parents donning the father xmas outfits. Deepest sympathy to Jackie, Daryl and the family. I will be streaming from W.A.
