Michele you are terribly missed. You were so funny, witty, caring person.
First day working with you, we became instant friends and then becoming family, over the years.
Loved hearing your stories and memories about your life . You were so proud.
Now its your turn to be looked after and reuniting with your dad. Xx
Dale McGonagle
Mum,
Thank you so so much for everything you sacrificed for me.
I am so proud to be your son, I know there was never a day that went by that we were apart, we weren’t always together, but we were never apart.
And we never will be!, you will always hold that special place in my heart that only a mother can have.
I learnt so much by the examples you set, and will be forever grateful.
As I reflect on your passing, I know I was provided the greatest of gifts, and that was being able to be with you in your final weeks, days and hours. Yes, it was hard, and you know you won 1st Prize on making my worst day ever list, but at the same time I won 1st Prize in having the opportunity for us to have our talks, hear what you wanted and needed.
Have our final dance, hugs and kisses, and be able to care for you until God wanted you back.
These things can never be taken away, replaced or forgotten.
I love you so much, your pain is gone, the hard times have ended….
Sail away and rest now, there’s nothing else you need to do.
Be proud knowing what you left behind. Always remembering – No regrets and no tears ( can’t promise the last bit!)
Although you are no longer here with us, you will always be my Angel.
Until we are reunited, enjoy a drink with Grandad and Grandma and look after our little girl resting in heaven with you.
Forever in my heart
Forever your Son
Dale.
XOXO

Dear Grandma,
Thank you for being the best Grandma, every time you saw us you cared about us and spoilt us, even when Dad and Mum said no to something like lollies, you would sneak them to us and tell us to hide in our bedrooms to eat them.
I will will miss you for my whole life.
I love you

Michelle,
What a long journey we have had as ose friends. I met you when I was 18 I’m 45 now how time flies. Hearing that you were unwell brought tears to my eyes!
You were the most lovable person I have ever met. I used to say you were my second mother and it was true.
I hope that with your passing, all your pain and remorse has been taken away from you, and you can be at rest easy with your mother and father.
Forever in my heart and will always miss you,
Love
Seamus

Dennis on behalf of the Op Volunteers and Lions Club Members pass and present
Michele,
We meet about 30 years ago you were a Volunteer at the Lions Club of Mordialloc Mentone Op Shop and I just became a member of the Club.
During the years you were the Manager until poor health you had to make the difficult decision to resign.
During that time you made many friends and worked hard for the Lions and the community
You can now rest knowing that the Op Shop is still going strong thanks to you.
Rest in peace
Michael Gibbons
Dear Michele,
It’s hard to put into words how much we all miss you and how deeply you were loved. I keep thinking about our last interaction. At the time, neither of us knew it would be our final goodbye, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was different. Maybe it was because it was the first goodbye where you didn’t call me one of your colourful names.
Michele, you and I worked together for almost five years, and I learned so much during that time. I am grateful for every moment we shared. Truth be told, after our first meeting, I thought you were going to fire me. I’ll never forget the look on your face when I told you I was 21. You said, “There is no way you know what you’re doing. You are so young.” Over time, you realised that age didn’t mean anything, and we built a truly wonderful relationship.
You were one of the good ones, Michele. I wish you were still here. My deepest condolences go to your family—your two sons and your grandchildren—who are all missing you very much.

Michele
You were such an incredibly strong and brave woman.
Your kindness, strength, and love touched all of us. You were more than a mother in law to me, you were my friend. You welcomed me into your family with open arms, and over the years our friendship grew stronger. We talked about so many things, and you were always there with support and offer guidance.
You were a wonderful grandmother to Luca and Patrick. I’ll miss all the little things, sneaking them chocolates and lollies, watching and playing games with them, and the unconditional love you always gave. They adored you, and they always will. The way you cared for your family is something we will hold close forever.
You leave me with beautiful memories and a love that will never fade. Our last day together will always be a warm special moment in my heart. Our day spa, our girly chat, the promises that we made, but most of all your words that have stuck with me “No sorrys, no tears, no regrets”.
Thank you for everything you gave me and for every moment we shared over the years.
Please look after our little girl in Heaven.
You will be deeply missed, but you will forever be in our hearts.
Rest peacefully, Shell.
We will love you to infinity and beyond.

We really enjoyed meeting Michele when we visited Australia. She was welcoming and kind with such a fun sense of humour. We have such happy memories of our time in Melbourne.
Our love and thoughts are with all of our McGonagle family in Australia today and know that you will give each other so much love and support on what will be a very difficult day.
Thinking of you all and sending all our love xxx
