Good bye old friend so sad you were taken just when you should be enjoying the fruits of a hard working life My thoughts are with Helen and the girls in this very distressing time. It hurts I know time reduces the pain but not much. Lv mike Large.

Ray , Devastated to hear of your passing. We had so many wonderful memories over many many years when “the Clan” used to get together. Also through the years at the Rangers Club. A true blue you will always be. ❤️🤍💙 You will be sadly missed by many but never forgotten. Our thoughts are with Helen & all the family.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of my good friend, Ray. You were a great friend over the years. You were humble and Quiet at times but you had a big heart, a quirky sense of humour and cheeky giggle and laugh that will always be remembered.
Your love for gadgets and new technology was only matched by your passion for the Glasgow Rangers. I’ll always cherish our catch-ups, especially that unforgettable trip back to Scotland via Manchester to watch Rangers in the European Final and onto Scottish Cup Final—a true bucket list moment, and was all thanks to you.
Your love for Helen, Rhona, and Leigh Anne drove you in everything you did. My sincere condolences to you all.
Raymond, may you find a pub (The Office) you enjoy in the next life. I will miss you pal but your spirit will always be part of our banter and chats with the Scottish brat pack doon the pub.
Rest in peace, my friend.
Gary & family. 💙❤️💙❤️

Its with great sadness to hear of the loss of our long & close friend Raymond. Memories stretch back to times in The Golden Eagle, The Kestrel & The Rugby Club. This was the beginning of the vodka club which was held in Raymond’s bedroom on a Saturday and Sunday night along with myself and fellow members John Loughrey, John McCarrall & Ross Dickson with Raymond hosting the event, where we consumed as much alcohol as possible before going out. I remember one night going to the Cathadhmara as a group for a meal and then back to Brian & Catherine’s house, this led on to Raymond and Helen’s new relationship and myself being his best man at their wedding ! Even when they left for Australia he still came back where had good times ( Manchester or an Ibrox tour ) and even a beer or two sharing his love for Helen, Rhona, & Leigh Anne. We were fortunate to share a lovely night with Raymond and Helen the last time they were home. He will be sadly missed. Heres to the happy times. Nigel & Laura
