Marjorie was a kind and gentle lady who made Chris and myself most welcome at St Stephens when we joined back in 2020. We admired how she cared for Deirdre and the families of her adult children. As a priest she was receptive to the love of God in all its ways and kept Stephen steady through those tough years. A moment of release has come for you. Vale! Marjorie. Stephen you are a good man.

Marj was one of the kindest people I ever met. It was a pleasure to have met her some 5 years ago and always brightened the day with that wave and smile working away in the front garden. A heart of gold, she was always wonderful with my children. I recount so many great stories of her wonderful personality from her beloved son in law, Steve. Marj, you may be gone…but will never be forgotten xx

Darling Marj, the sadness we feel today, only shows The love and friendship, we have shared over many years, since our first meeting in 1964. At the Shire of Sherbrooke. Marj, you were our Mum’s dearest friend Kathleen and we thank you for all those special times, of fun and laughter. Our Shire lunches, will continue and we will always have that sixth chair taking pride of place, in honour of a very beautiful and inspirational Marj. RIP our dear friend.
