In shadows of memories, I make my plea,
For my brother, Ray now gone, taken too swiftly.
With heavy heart, I pause to reminisce,
Of the days we shared, the bond we’ll forever miss.

Through countless seasons, side by side we grew,
Different paths we took, but the love stayed true.
Though a bitter disagreement stood in our way,
Deep inside, love’s flame shone bright, come what may.

As time ticked by, regrets within me grew,
For every word unsaid, every clash, we knew.
But now, my brother, in this moment of grief,
I lay down our differences, seeking sweet relief.

Sixty-two years of life’s tapestry unfurled,
An intricate quilt of laughter and the world.
Through youthful adventures and trials we faced,
Together we stood, united and embraced.

Regrets, my dear brother, I lay them to rest,
For love’s bond can never be truly oppressed.
Your spirit now soars, as gentle as a dove,
Guiding me through life, with wisdom from above.

Though we disagreed, our love remained intact,
A cherished connection, a timeless pact.
In memories and dreams, I’ll hold you dear,
My brother, now gone, your presence ever near.

And through the tears that fall as I stand here,
I choose love over the walls that we once built in fear.
Brother, in my heart, you hold a special place,
Forever cherished, in this eternal embrace.

So, farewell, dear brother, until we meet again,
In the realm of love, where souls transcend.
Rest now, in peace, where no pain can reside,
For our love survives, forever by your side.
