SMITH, Ronald Matthew

Ronald Matthew Smith

It is with broken hearts and tear- filled eyes, we will soon gather to farewell

an unforgettable, hard working, handsome family man and loyal friend.

He was Ron, Ronnie or Smithy to most,

THE PAPER BAG MAN to others and ROTT3N to a few.

But to us he was a loved and loving Dad, besotted Poppy,

a caring, devoted husband and much admired father-in-law.

Ron was also a good, honest and trusted friend to many.

He enjoyed the odd joke, old movies, chocolate,

ice-cream and red wine with ice.

Family was his constant focus.

After a courageous and determined battle with cancer,

Ron reluctantly succumbed to this unpredictable disease.

A brave and strong heart, now at rest with those loved ones who will meet him on his final journey.

He was and will always be our world.

The love we shared will be with us ALWAYS and FOREVER.

Thank you to the compassionate staff at Peninsula Hospice,

Peninsula Private, Acacia Ward and St John of God, Granada Ward for walking with us.

The service to celebrate the life of Ron will be held

in the Stratus Reflection Space, Bunurong Memorial Park,

790 Frankston - Dandenong Rd, Dandenong South

on Monday, 31st July at 11am.

For those who cannot attend,
