A beloved brother-in-law; I’ve known u just about my whole life. And did we debate….!!! we had a deep affection for our work; we loved hard & strong with our care & compassion even though we worked on other sides of the fence. We had a deep respect for each other and I always felt your love towards me 💜. You deeply loved my parents, my sister, your 2 lads and the grandkids and my daughter; for that I am grateful 🙏🏼 . I will really really miss you. You were a giant male presence in my life and Jai’s; I can still hear u and always hope to hold the memories of your big voice in my heart 😎 Be at peace brother xxx

Sterls you were the best Sgt I have had in my career. I enjoyed my time working with you because you made me feel welcome all the time. Even though you tried to play the tough Sgt, you had a heart of gold and loved all your staff, and they loved you. You will be missed. I hope you are at peace now. RIP Sterls.

We met over 40 years ago in the academy and almost got kicked out! You polished my shoes and I ironed your shirts. It was a great arrangement until Daisy caught you with a step in my room handing over my shoes. Oh how we laughed later on! A great squad mate and friend; taken way too soon. Rest in peace dear Sterls.

Peter, you were truly a beautiful person with a heart of gold. You were selfless with all your dealings with people. You valued family and embraced mine wholly within your generous heart. I loved watching you with your beautiful grandchildren, (your little darling and your little mate)…a bond between you that was truly beautiful…memories that are vivid in my mind.
    Rest in peace beautiful person.
