From our very first phone call to the completion of Natasha's funeral service, the entire team at Templeton Family Funerals was nothing short of exceptional.
During the most heartbreaking time of our lives, they treated our daughter, Natasha, and our entire family with the utmost dignity, compassion, kindness and respect. Every member of their team was professional, caring, patient and incredibly prompt. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and every request big or small was handled with genuine empathy and attention to detail.
Their communication was outstanding, keeping us informed every step of the way, and they made what felt like an impossible journey so much easier to navigate. The care they took in honouring Natasha's life gave us great comfort and created a beautiful farewell that we will always cherish.
We will be forever grateful to Templeton Family Funerals for their unwavering support, professionalism and heartfelt care. I cannot recommend them highly enough to any family needing guidance through one of life's most difficult moments.

This was our family’s second experience with Templeton Family Funerals. We found that Elizabeth and the team at Templeton were very approachable, caring and professional and showed great dignity and compassion to our mum and us. They listened to our wishes and were very communicative during the entire process. We felt confident with them, and they made the whole process was very easy for us.

Tragically, my aunty passed away start of 2026 and after discussing options with a number of funeral homes, Templeton were a standout. The owners are hands on and treat the process not as a business transaction, but with compassion and understanding. If you're in the undortunate circumstance of needing the services, I cannot rate this company and its people higher. My aunty was buried with the dignity and grace she deserved. From the bottom of our hearts, we cannot thank the Templeton team enough.

After a very distressing initial inquiry with Bare Funerals, I turned to Templeton to care for the loss of my daughter. From the first phone call, to the delivery of her ashes I was so impressed with their continued sensitivity and respect for my daughter and for us as her family, and their compassion for our ongoing distress. Run by women, I am so thankful that we found them, and I could not recommend them more highly.

I highly recommend Templeton Family Funerals. Elizabeth was extremely organised and sympathetic, and was able to adapt her communication tone and manner to suit our family. Her email responses were very quick and efficient, accommodating our request for a change of date and adding streaming without issue. On the day of the service, Templeton's’ team of Elizabeth, Russell and Claire were amazing in ensuring everything ran smoothly, including advising Belinda Jane Video, and the rather long trip to the burial.
This is the second time we have used Templeton's, and will do so again without hesitation if the need arises.

We used Templeton's for our mums funeral in 2023 and when Dad died at the end of January there was no double we would be using them again. The caring appraoch is amazing, and the results are seamless. Their team took all of the stress away from what has been one of the most stressful times of our families lives. I cannot express enough gratitude for the team at Templetone Family Funerals for their incredible support during a difficult and overwhelming time. My nephew's sudden passing left our family in shock and, as this was our first time organizing a funeral in Australia, we were lost and unsure where to begin. From the moment I spoke with Melisa, she guided us through each step with so much patience and understanding. She took the time to explain the process clearly, which was a huge relief. Then, Claire became our funeral director and continued to provide compassionate, professional support every step of the way. The entire team made a heartbreaking experience so much more manageable, showing immense empathy and kindness. I’m deeply thankful for their care, and I highly recommend their services. The attention to detail, understanding of our needs and guidance in assisting my family in navigating such an overwhelming process of arranging my mother's funeral service was exemplary. I cannot commend Elizabeth highly enough.
Elizabeth provided us with detailed information before our meeting so we could personalise my mother's funeral. Elizabeth was right by our sides throughout the whole process and proved gentle encouragement when we needed it. On the day before the service I jokingly asked Elizabeth if she could ensure it didn't rain as the weather forecast predicted wet weather. The day of the service was filled with glorious sunshine and blue skies! I cannot thank Templeton Family Funerals and Elizabeth enough. My heartfelt thanks.

Cannot thank Ellese and the staff at Templeton Family Funerals enough for their care and support. They were recommended to us and from the moment we met with Ellese it was clear we were in the right place and that the funeral service would be as we wanted it to be and would be executed with empathy and care as well as taste and style. At a time when decision making is difficult the whole process was sensitive, sympathetic and understanding. We needed our Mum to be in the best of hands and indeed she was. Our deepest of thanks.

Hayley was personable, professional and compassionate. From our first phone conversation Hayley was helpful and a calm presence, sending through a quote and questions for my brother and I to think about for when we all sat down together to plan my Mum's funeral. As our funeral director Hayley made the process effortless and even pleasurable. My requests for my Mum's presentation and my private viewing were met without question.
Templeton delivered a beautiful funeral including the casket, flowers, as well as, Hayley's presentation and treatment of our guests, and the way she was so respectful towards my Mum. The service also went off without a glitch, with the music selected and video of photos played on cue. One of my aunts made the comment that my Mum would have been so proud of the service. Our heartfelt thanks to Hayley and the Templeton family for an outstanding effort.

From the first meeting with Hayley, I knew this was to be the funeral director we would use for my mother in law. Having worked in the funeral industry for many years, I knew what to expect from staff at a funeral home. Templeton Family Funerals far exceeded my expectations. Flexible, professional, affordable are words I would use to describe this funeral home. On the day of the service my niece expressed to me that she had heartfelt support when attending the viewing. The two that came to collect my loved one after they'd past were so polite to myself and family. Very respectful with the body and encouraged myself as well as other family to say goodbye.

Ellese and her team provide an exceptional service in the most difficult of circumstances. Farewelling someone you love is never an easy task but with Ellese and her team there to guide and support us every step of the way it became a memorable and heartfelt celebration of our Mum's life that was true to her.
Ellese and her team were always patient and made sure that all the tiny details were perfect. Ellese was able to effortlessly attend to, and assist with the more practical side of organising a funeral such as, arranging care for our Mum after she passed, embalming, paper-work, liaising with venues and celebrants and organising burial/cremation.

From the first phone call I made to Templeton Family Funeral I felt comfortable in letting them take care of my beautiful Mum, Doris. All ladies showed compassion and understanding of the grief and loss we were feeling, connected us to a wonderful celebrant, organised the live stream due to covid restrictions and ensured our wishes were carried out.
We were treated with the utmost respect.
We could not fault the service they provided and highly recommend these dedicated ladies. it was a beautiful tribute to our dear mum and a celebration of her 93 year life.

At such a difficult time they provided us with the support to organise both services exactly as we wanted with so much care and consideration. Templeton is honestly such a great company.
We had to bury our beautiful baby sister wich was already tough, but just before the day the Victorian government declared lockdown on the day of her funeral but Templeton really made the process so much easier and still helped us run the ceremony with such compassion and professionalism.
It was such a beautiful ceremony too.
They are extremely caring and kept in contact with us all throughout the whole process wich was reassuring cause we had never done this before.

Not knowing any funeral directors and 'googling' local companies, Lynne was my first contact with Templeton Family Funerals; she just happened to answer the phone that afternoon. From our first conversation, it was clear in her choice of words, her sincerity, sensitivity and sympathy for our loss, I knew we had found someone I could truly feel comfortable with and confident in. Lynne was absolutely sensational and nothing was ever a problem despite my random changes in decisions!

Templetons' made a difficult process very easy. From the initial call late on a Friday night, to the final follow up call to ask if there was anything else they could help with, Templetons' provided excellent service. Rachel was wonderful in stepping me through all that was needed to result in a lovely church service, and an interment at considerable distance. She made suggestions along the way, all thoughtful and considered. On the day, Rachel and her assistants were also excellent, accompanying us throughout the day, stepping in when needed, while maintaining a discreet presence. I highly recommend their team. Nothing was too much trouble.

From the time that Sherree contacted me, the team headed by Rachel were full of care and compassion not only for our loved one but the entire family. When a loved one passes away, you don’t need more stress when planning their funeral. Templeton Family Funerals was recommended to us by our celebrant, Marg Fitzpatrick, and I was incredibly happy with my choice. Ellese, Sheree and the girls supported me throughout the process of planning the most amazing celebration of my husband’s life. Authenticity, compassion, care and Templeton's ability to make things happen just as we wanted throughout such an ordeal were the qualities that could not be understated. It is fitting that 'Family' is in their business name because it was that personal touch showed by Lynne and her team that helped us cope with all the preparations and the funeral itself. We were really appreciative how Templeton Family Funerals worked tirelessly to give our Father the best send off possible.

They offered an extremely professional service during a very difficult time and delivered over and above my expectation. Templeton Family Funerals handled our situation with sensitivity and professionalism. From the time we notified them that we required their services up until the service they made themselves available for any questions and requests. The memorial service they put on for us was absolutely perfect. Rachel was truly amazing to deal with and had great recommendations for every aspect including venue, celebrant, set up and personal touches. Communication was excellent throughout their entire business too.

Friendly, personable and approachable staff who were more than willing to make the service exactly how we wanted it to be. Nothing was too much trouble and my initial phone call at 3.30am was returned promptly 10 minutes later. It was so refreshing to have lovely, friendly, smiling women to deal with.
