George Wright

George passed away peacefully at home on 19th July 2023 aged 83 years, surrounded by his loving family.
George was an incredibly devoted and loving husband who brought light, love and laughter into Claudie’s life for over forty years.
He was a caring father, stepfather and gorgeous, cheeky “Grumpy” to all his adoring grandkids.
George was a true gentleman, a generous and attentive host and much-loved by his many friends the world over.
He will be sadly missed and remembered forever.
The service to celebrate George’s life will be held in the Boyd Chapel, Springvale Botanical Cemetery, 600 Princes Hwy, Springvale on Wednesday 26th July, commencing at 11am.

George was able to spend his final days at home being cared for by those who loved him thanks to the amazing support we received from Eastern Palliative Care.
