Caskets
What is the difference between coffins and caskets?
Basically the only difference between a casket and a coffin is the shape and how the lid is attached. Coffins are tapered at the head and foot, wider at the shoulders and have a removable lid. Caskets are rectangular in shape and the lid is hinged.
All of our caskets and coffins are manufactured in Australia by an Australian company. Our caskets and coffins are crafted with the utmost attention to detail and backed by modern quality assurance processes.
Most of all, we have a casket to suit everyone. Our consultant will discuss the differences between the caskets at the time of the arrangement. You will be shown photographs of our range of coffins and caskets.
