COVID-19 Update 23/11/2020 - Important Message from the Managing Director & Founder of Templeton Family Funerals
With the ever evolving COVID-19 situation, our priority is to protect the health and well-being of our team, client families & the community. We understand how important our role as a funeral director is when it comes to celebrating the life of your loved one “your way”. Funerals may be “a little different” while we fight off COVID-19.
We are pleased to announce as from Monday November 23rd, 2020 - The maximum attendees for burials & chapel services are 150 people. This limit does not include funeral directors or cemetery employees.
These attendee restrictions are in addition to the four-square metres per person social distancing directives. You must wear a face covering when attending an indoor funeral service, unless you have a lawful reason for not doing so. You should not attend a funeral if you are feeling unwell. As directed by the Chief Health Officer each person who attends the funeral service must provide their name and a contact number.
Sanitiser is available at all our venues and we ask if you could please sanitise on entry & exit.
We are offering recording & live streaming of services where possible and we certainly can arrange a memorial service at a later date.
Unfortunately, due to health concerns we are unable to provide a guest signing book on the day of service. We encourage you to leave a tribute on your loved ones personal notice which will be placed on our website https://www.templetonfamilyfunerals.com.au/ this can also be linked to Facebook.
For the safety of our family and yours we have decided that all arrangements will be made via zoom, phone & email. Our office doors are open to families needing to provide us with items/clothing or to sign documents. Please call to make an appointment time before your arrival, maximum (2) visitors per appointment. Whether your wishes are for a direct cremation, burial or a service, we are always available, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to look after your family and loved one.
