I will always remember Eleanor, we met over fifty years ago. Her brother taught me at Garlandale primary school we discovered. I remember the fond times we had at the Noble Park house and later she met her husband to be Geoff. Geoff and I worked together for a short time, he so cherished Eleanor. The last time I saw Eleanor was when they came and visited my father Les at hospital in 2012, it was a day to remember as my father told one of his jokes and we all had a good old laugh together. You are an angel now Eleanor, gone but never forgotten.

In loving memory of my dear sister Ellen who passed away peacefully on 6 April 2021. I have so many wonderful, vivid memories of us growing up. The happy times we had playing with the neighbour’s children in the park next to our home, walking together to school in the mornings, then rushing home to complete our homework and domestic chores so that we could go and play. Also climbing in the trees, ripping our dresses and then quickly rushing inside to find a needle and cotton to stitch before mommy sees it. I can see us sitting around the supper table next to each other and always having something to whisper to each other before receiving a scolding from mommy. You always showed so much concern in your shy, timid way. All too soon we were grown up, but I am eternally thankful that we were always there for each other. When you decided to immigrate to Australia, I was filled with mixed emotions, excitement and sadness, but fortunately there are wonderful memories of our visits to one another. Your memory will always be alive in me. I will always love you, but our dear Lord loves you more. To Geoff, Jo-Anne, Brian, Britt, Tom, Jack and Phil and all the family, we know your loss is great, but I pray that our dear Lord in his mercy will protect you and give you strength to carry on. May her dear soul rest in peace and rise in glory. Tons of love from Ken, June and all the family here in South Africa. God Bless.

I first met El through Jo when she & Phil met and became a family.
El was always up for a laugh and loved her family get togethers.
She will be missed but is now free of pain and suffering.
    RIP El

Geoff, Our paths crossed at Millward during visits as we extended loving concern for our wives. I will remember them as in them your dedication and sensitive appreciation of the waning grip Eleanor had on life was warmly evident. Bless you, Leon.
