Ricky and I, together with Clyde and Dayan, extend our deepest condolences to you Richard, Eva and Jenny and to all Kitty’s loved ones. We are truly saddened by her loss. There are lots of wonderful things I would like to write about Kitty and our friendship, but I will run out of space.
Instead, we as a family want to express our heartfelt gratitude to you Kitty for sponsoring Ricky and I, and our boys, Clyde, Gavin and Dayan, during the height of the ethnic conflicts/riots in Sri Lanka in 1983.
You opened the doors to safety, freedom, peace and opportunity. At much expense you travelled to Perth from Melbourne with Richard and Eva, to help us settle in. You arranged the schooling for our boys and set us on our way to a life of Progress and Peace. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Kitty.
Love always, the Muthukumaraswamy family.
May your dear loving and generous soul rest in peace with the Lord you loved and worshipped during your life.
Ricky, Annette, Clyde and Dayan.

Dear Aunty Kitty.
You were the first to welcome us to Australia, and whenever I think about those initial days, it’s always with fond memories of our time in Yale Road. I will always be grateful for your support and compassion that not only changed our lives, but paved the way for the rest of our extended family to call Australia home.
May you rest in peace.
Love, Dayan.

Aunty Kitty
Such a kind, generous, strong and beautiful human. You were a warrior. You leave behind a legacy of love, care and selflessness that we all aspire to.
Thank you for your sacrifices, the support and the guidance you gave our family. Our first memories of Australia will forever be inextricably linked with you, Richard and Eva. So many meals shared together. So many evenings and weekends spent together.
What I remember most from those days is your laugh and smile. You always had a way of seeing the humour in every situation and lightening the mood so easily.
May you rest in peace.
Clyde
