There are truly no words that could ever express how grateful we are to Ellese and the entire team at Templeton Family Funerals. Losing our beautiful daughter Sienna at just 18 months old was something we could never have prepared for. We had never planned a funeral for a child, nor did we ever imagine we would have to, and we genuinely do not know how we would have made it through this period without Ellese by our side. From the very beginning, she made us feel completely loved, supported and cared for. Nothing was ever too much. She gently guided us through every decision when we were barely capable of making them ourselves, somehow understanding exactly what we needed even when we didn’t know how to put it into words. Most importantly, we knew our little girl was being treated with the same love, dignity and tenderness that we would have given her ourselves. Ellese and her team took care of Sienna every single step of the way, and as her parents, there is no greater gift they could have given us. Sienna’s funeral was more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. So many of our family and friends have told us it was the most beautiful and meaningful service they have ever attended. It truly felt like her, filled with love, personality and all the little things that made our girl so incredibly special. At the absolute worst time of our lives, Ellese became so much more than the person organising our daughter’s funeral. She became someone we trusted completely with our most precious little girl and with some of the hardest moments our family will ever experience. You never expect to need someone like Ellese, particularly for your child, but we will forever be grateful that when our world fell apart, she was the person there to help carry us through it. There will never be enough stars or a high enough recommendation for Templeton Family Funerals. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for loving and caring for our Sienna, and for taking such incredible care of our entire family. We will never forget what you and the team did for us. 🤍

Our loved father Ted sadly passed away and we were told by a family friend that Templeton Family Funerals could help us navigate the process. We set up a meeting with beautiful and caring Elizabeth and from that point on it was streamless. The service was organised and another meeting was scheduled with our celebrant, Andy, who came highly recommended. It all came together to give dad a loving and dignified service. We are so thankful to Elizabeth and Andy. The Pilling Family.

5-Star Care for Our Beautiful Natasha 🦋 From our very first phone call to the completion of Natasha's funeral service, the entire team at Templeton Family Funerals was nothing short of exceptional. During the most heartbreaking time of our lives, they treated our daughter, Natasha, and our entire family with the utmost dignity, compassion, kindness and respect. Every member of their team was professional, caring, patient and incredibly prompt. I cannot recommend these beautiful people enough in such a hard time. Ellese went above and beyond making sure my mums service was perfect, and perfect it was. So much love, support and care put into everything they do. Huge personal thanks to Ellese and our lovely celebrant Jacqueline.

Tragically, my aunty passed away start of 2026 and after discussing options with a number of funeral homes, Templeton were a standout. The owners are hands on and treat the process not as a business transaction, but with compassion and understanding. If you're in the undortunate circumstance of needing the services, I cannot rate this company and its people higher. My aunty was buried with the dignity and grace she deserved. From the bottom of our hearts, we cannot thank the Templeton team enough.

I was so blessed to be referred to Ellese at Templeton Funerals. From the moment I first met Ellese in her beautiful office, I felt seen and heard in a way I really needed during such an emotional and vulnerable time. Ellese and her team were incredibly professional, efficient and most importantly gentle with stepping me through each part of this process that no one wishes to have to go through.

After a very distressing initial inquiry with Bare Funerals, I turned to Templeton to care for the loss of my daughter. From the first phone call, to the delivery of her ashes I was so impressed with their continued sensitivity and respect for my daughter and for us as her family, and their compassion for our ongoing distress. Run by women, I am so thankful that we found them, and I could not recommend them more highly.

I highly recommend Templeton Family Funerals. Elizabeth was extremely organised and sympathetic, and was able to adapt her communication tone and manner to suit our family. Her email responses were very quick and efficient, accommodating our request for a change of date and adding streaming without issue. On the day of the service, Templeton's’ team of Elizabeth, Russell and Claire were amazing in ensuring everything ran smoothly, including advising Belinda Jane Video, and the rather long trip to the burial. This is the second time we have used Templeton's, and will do so again without hesitation if the need arises.

We used Templeton's for our mums funeral in 2023 and when Dad died at the end of January there was no double we would be using them again. I could not recommend them highly enough.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the team at Templetone Family Funerals for their incredible support during a difficult and overwhelming time. My nephew's sudden passing left our family in shock and, as this was our first time organizing a funeral in Australia, we were lost and unsure where to begin. From the moment I spoke with Melisa, she guided us through each step with so much patience and understanding. She took the time to explain the process clearly, which was a huge relief. Then, Claire became our funeral director and continued to provide compassionate, professional support every step of the way. The entire team made a heartbreaking experience so much more manageable, showing immense empathy and kindness. I’m deeply thankful for their care, and I highly recommend their services. Five stars from the bottom of my heart.

My family and l are so thankful for the professionalism, care and compassion demonstrated by Ellese Templeton, Elizabeth, Russell, Melissa and all the staff at Templeton Family Funerals. The attention to detail, understanding of our needs and guidance in assisting my family in navigating such an overwhelming process of arranging my mother's funeral service was exemplary. I cannot commend Elizabeth highly enough. Elizabeth provided us with detailed information before our meeting so we could personalise my mother's funeral. Elizabeth was right by our sides throughout the whole process and proved gentle encouragement when we needed it. On the day before the service I jokingly asked Elizabeth if she could ensure it didn't rain as the weather forecast predicted wet weather. The day of the service was filled with glorious sunshine and blue skies! I cannot thank Templeton Family Funerals and Elizabeth enough. My heartfelt thanks.

Cannot thank Ellese and the staff at Templeton Family Funerals enough for their care and support. They were recommended to us and from the moment we met with Ellese it was clear we were in the right place and that the funeral service would be as we wanted it to be and would be executed with empathy and care as well as taste and style. At a time when decision making is difficult the whole process was sensitive, sympathetic and understanding. We needed our Mum to be in the best of hands and indeed she was. Our deepest of thanks.

Hayley was personable, professional and compassionate. From our first phone conversation Hayley was helpful and a calm presence, sending through a quote and questions for my brother and I to think about for when we all sat down together to plan my Mum's funeral. As our funeral director Hayley made the process effortless and even pleasurable. My requests for my Mum's presentation and my private viewing were met without question. Templeton delivered a beautiful funeral including the casket, flowers, as well as, Hayley's presentation and treatment of our guests, and the way she was so respectful towards my Mum. The service also went off without a glitch, with the music selected and video of photos played on cue. One of my aunts made the comment that my Mum would have been so proud of the service. Our heartfelt thanks to Hayley and the Templeton family for an outstanding effort.

From the first meeting with Hayley, I knew this was to be the funeral director we would use for my mother in law. Having worked in the funeral industry for many years, I knew what to expect from staff at a funeral home. Templeton Family Funerals far exceeded my expectations. Flexible, professional, affordable are words I would use to describe this funeral home. On the day of the service my niece expressed to me that she had heartfelt support when attending the viewing. Well done to all the staff for providing an execeptional service. I would not hesitate in recommending Templeton Family Funerals to my friends and family

Ellese and her team provide an exceptional service in the most difficult of circumstances. Farewelling someone you love is never an easy task but with Ellese and her team there to guide and support us every step of the way it became a memorable and heartfelt celebration of our Mum's life that was true to her. Ellese and her team were always patient and made sure that all the tiny details were perfect. Ellese was able to effortlessly attend to, and assist with the more practical side of organising a funeral such as, arranging care for our Mum after she passed, embalming, paper-work, liaising with venues and celebrants and organising burial/cremation. Templeton is honestly such a great company. Templetons' made a difficult process very easy. From the initial call late on a Friday night, to the final follow up call to ask if there was anything else they could help with, Templetons' provided excellent service. Rachel was wonderful in stepping me through all that was needed to result in a lovely church service, and an interment at considerable distance. She made suggestions along the way, all thoughtful and considered. When a loved one passes away, you don’t need more stress when planning their funeral. Templeton Family Funerals was recommended to us by our celebrant, Marg Fitzpatrick, and I was incredibly happy with my choice. Ellese, Sheree and the girls supported me throughout the process of planning the most amazing celebration of my husband’s life. While I will always miss him, I know that the last thing I did for my husband was perfect. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Sue Mason

Authenticity, compassion, care and Templeton's ability to make things happen just as we wanted throughout such an ordeal were the qualities that could not be understated. It is fitting that 'Family' is in their business name because it was that personal touch showed by Lynne and her team that helped us cope with all the preparations and the funeral itself. We were really appreciative how Templeton Family Funerals worked tirelessly to give our Father the best send off possible.

Templeton Family Funerals need to be on your consider list should you require these services. They offered an extremely professional service during a very difficult time and delivered over and above my expectation. I found them considerate, friendly and transparent regarding all aspects of funeral services that you probably have never thought of. I thoroughly recommend them, and looking back, they made the passing of my loved one that much easier. To the team at Templeton Family Funerals, thank you!

Templeton Family Funerals handled our situation with sensitivity and professionalism. From the time we notified them that we required their services up until the service they made themselves available for any questions and requests. For what was an emotional and stressful period for our family their professionalism and organisation was very much appreciated. Our sincere thanks to Rachel.

The memorial service they put on for us was absolutely perfect. Rachel was truly amazing to deal with and had great recommendations for every aspect including venue, celebrant, set up and personal touches. Communication was excellent throughout their entire business too.

Cannot recommend Templeton's highly enough. Everything from the planning stage to the end of service was simply wonderful. Rachel was so understanding of our needs and with her guidance we gave my father a lovely farewell. Our grateful thanks to Rachel, Sheree and staff.

Friendly, personable and approachable staff who were more than willing to make the service exactly how we wanted it to be. Nothing was too much trouble and my initial phone call at 3.30am was returned promptly 10 minutes later. It was so refreshing to have lovely, friendly, smiling women to deal with. Thanks Templeton Ladies !
