My dear Nan, we got to see the best part of you, the life of the party with the devilish naughty smile and always up for some fun.
We had so many crazy adventures with you, from Jungle Surfing (you still hold the record for the oldest grandmother for Jungle Surfing (Zip Lining at 89 years), all the holidays, going to the beach, visiting you and Grandad at the caravan park, hiding under your dress whenever there was a thunder storm and our tradition of eating yummy doughnuts at the shops to receiving all sorts of naughty gifts in the mail. Grandad can finally take you out on a beautiful date in the clouds and you two can kick up your heels with him again. You may be gone but you will remain in our hearts forever. Liv xxxooo

I had an angel here beside me,
Sent to earth to help and guide me,
An angel always there for me
Sent to live and care for me.
She did the things that angel should:
She taught me what was bad and good,
She gave me hope when no one cared,
She held my hand when I was scared.
She cheered me up when I was down
She could make a smile from a frown.
She cared for me when I was sick,
    And many another angel trick.
Today my angel earned her wings, her halo, harp and other things.
Today you would think I’m lost and all alone
But it’s comforting to know Grandad is finally taking you home.
